The Uruguay Socio-Environmental Fund was created to provide financial and technical support to civil society initiatives in Uruguay that seek to address, from the communities and using their knowledge and strength, the main current and potential damages to the environment, climate change, and the deterioration of the quality of life, as well as to explore new paths of production and consumption from an eco-dependent, gender, ethnic-racial and environmental justice perspective.

MONETARY SUPPORT
We support organizations, movements, collectives, and social groups quickly and effectively, based on mutual trust, transparency, and flexibility.
We invest in specific and strategic actions that enable these initiatives to overcome obstacles due to lack of resources or knowledge.
Our guiding principle is that money reaches communities when it is needed.
Some examples Purchase of materials for outreach and visibility actions. Hiring experts (lawyers, economists, biologists, etc.) for specific actions. Support for holding strategic meetings related to collective initiatives.

BANK OF SERVICES
We facilitate coordination, cooperation, and collective action among initiatives that occur around a similar theme or in the same territory;
We manage links with the media and public policy makers;
